 Asthma: Generally 'Asthma' is a lung disorder. It gives obstruction to our breathing.  • Starting process: Sit on the floor, cross your leg through keep your left leg near the right thigh and right leg near the left thigh, place your hands on your knees, inhale and exhale deeply, between inhalation and exhalation take a small break. You can do 100-150 breath pumps.

 • Starting process: Sit as Sukhasana, fold your both legs, and keep them near the opposite thighs. Keep hands on your knees. Inhale through your left nose for 5 seconds, exhale through your right nostril for 10 seconds. Again inhale through your right nostril for 5 seconds and exhale through your left nostril for 10 seconds. Here the ratio of inhalation and exhalation is 1:2. So, it cleans your lungs. Continue this for 5-10 minutes.

 • Starting process: Sit down on the floor, extend your legs, always use mat or carpet while sitting on the floor for asana or pranayama. Bend your left leg and put it under the right thigh. In the same way, fold your right leg and keep it under the left thigh. Keep both of your hands on your knees, sit straight, relax your body, and take breath normally.


 4. Bhastrika (Bellows breath): Bhastrika is a useful breath exercise. It cures asthma, headache, many neurological problems, etc. It reduces your stress which is one of the reasons for asthma.

 • Starting process: Sit like Sukhasana, sit on the floor, take a deep breath through your nose, and release it. If you have asthma then inhale slowly. Do it for 2-3 minutes. Do it twice a day.

 5. Bhujangasana (Cobra pose): Bhujangasana is another one yoga for curing 'Asthma'. It is a part of 'Hatha yoga'. It stretches the lungs.

 • Starting process: Lie down on the floor, lie down in that way like the backside will be at above, bring the legs closer together and straight your legs, lift up your upper portion of your body ( head, chest), place your hands at your side and slightly press your hands against the floor, push the head back towards the backrest, again press your hands against the floor and lift up your chest, inhale deeply, let it be the same position for 15 seconds and then exhale it.


 6. Upavistha Konasana ( Seated wide angle pose): Upavistha Konasana is a part of modern yoga. It is so beneficial from every side. It extends your chest and opens the lungs. This asana helps you in breathing. Asthma can be cured by this excellent asana.

 • Starting process: Sit on the floor, use a yoga mat or carpet, try to stretch your legs at 90 degrees slowly as much as you can, stretch your legs at your two sides and touch your palms on the floor. If you want to touch your toes by your hands then put on your upper torso down and touch your toes. Otherwise, you can also sit straight and keep your hands on the floor at the backside. Inhale deeply for 30-60 seconds and then exhale it. You can stay in this posture as long as you feel comfortable. Morning is the better time for doing this on empty stomach. 

 7. Shavasana ( Corpse pose): Shavasana is the easiest asana among all asanas. Generally, Shavasana is the concluding pose of every asana. This also helps you to cure asthma.

 • Starting process: Lie down on the floor, stretch your feet and hands, close your eyes. It is like falling asleep. Do this for 1-2 minutes, you will feel relaxed. It helps your body to free of stress. Shavasana relaxes your body and mind. It makes you tranquil. This tranquility and relaxation help you to cure asthma.
